Summer of fun with Peppa Pig

From a very early age Eva fell in love with Peppa Pig. Before becoming a parent I was adamant that Peppa would not be part of our family life but since being a mum i've realised how invaluable she is to me. If it wasn't for her and her family, there would have been times when I wouldn't have had a hot cup of tea or dinner on the table. Eva's learnt French, counting numbers, songs and various other things from watching Peppa Pig. It was inevitable that Ophelia was going to follow suit. Ophelia hears the theme tune and she instantly laughs and smiles. It's just short enough to grab her attention and keeps her entertained.

I was delighted to be asked to be a Peppa Pig ambassador. I knew it would be a great fit for us as a family and for my blog. Over the summer we were sent our first bundle of Peppa Pig items, designed to give us a summer of fun.

The box arrived and both girls absolutely loved opening it with me to see their goodies. Eva thought it was christmas. We received a remote control inflatable Peppa, inflatable muddy puddle, Peppa party time race games, Peppa single nautical duvet set, Peppa camper van shape sorter, Peppa reversible travel pillow and Peppa goes around the world book.

Ophelia's favourite product is the Remote Control Inflatable Peppa. She has the most infectious laugh when she sees it moving around the room. It's actually a little bit bigger than her in size. Eva likes to use the controller to direct it around the house, whilst Ophelia just watches with glee. The theme tune can also be played from the remote control which I think is part of why both girls enjoy it so much.

I'm one of these mums that has all the best intentions when it comes to messy, outdoor play but I have to say i'm the first one to shy away from jumping in actual muddy puddles. The Water Filled Muddy Puddle has been a dream come true. Eva has been able to bounce up and down on it without actually getting dirty. She thinks it's amazing that she has her own muddy puddle.
It's also a great sensory toy for Ophelia. She often sits next to it and bashes it.

We were sent the Peppa Pig Party Time Race Game and whilst the recommended age is 4+, Eva has really enjoyed playing with it. She often takes it when we go to her great nan's for Sunday dinner. Once we've finished dinner, we all sit at the table and play the game together. The game is based on Suzy Sheep's birthday and you have to try and be the first to arrive at the party. The instructions and game play are simple enough for little one's to understand.

Eva's bedroom doesn't have an actual theme, it's just decorated in pink and white colours so it was lovely to receive the Nautical Duvet Set. She wanted to put it on her bed straight away.

My personal favourite product from all of our treats was the Caravan Shape Sorter. I love the fact that it's wooden and educational. It has a lovely, vintage, sturdy feel to it and the fact that it a shape sorter makes it all the more better. Ophelia is very fond of it too and i'm hoping as she grows older she will learn which shapes fit where. At the moment she's just bashing everything, but still having a good time.

We've used the Reversible Pillow when we've been camping. It's really handy to keep in the car for long journeys too. We have a long haul flight next year so we will be taking this for the girls to snuggle into.

Last up was the Peppa goes around the world book. We love to read in our house and both girls sit and have story time in bed before they go to sleep. We already have a few Peppa Pig books so this was a lovely addition. We are a travel loving family so this book was perfect for us. The book is about Peppa and her family going on holiday. Their car breaks down so they have to borrow a plane. They use the plane to fly all around the world to visit Peppa's friends on their holiday.

We have loved our summer of fun with Peppa Pig. We can't wait to see what autumn/winter brings and of course what Santa will be bringing for the girls.

  3. What a lucky girl! :) I guess Peppa Pig will always remain a favourite among the young little ones. T had a remote-controlled inflatable Baymax and really loved it, till one of her friends punctured it.

  17. Oh I love these goodies. My youngest who's only 20 months can say peppa. I don't even know where she got it from. My 4 year old grew up with peppa but for her it seems to have got lost. I must get out all the book for her again in the bookshelf.
