Wicked Uncle aims to make the process of choosing and buying children's presents easy and fun. They have sourced lots of different presents from all over the world which means that they have got many unique products that you wouldn't find in your every day retailer.
The first thing I noticed when using the website was how easy it was to navigate around. You can select to view gifts by gender and then by age which makes things really easy. I decided to pick a couple of items for my eldest daughter Eva. I was very impressed with the huge selection that was available for her age.
I know some people may not like the fact that you can search by gender but for me I found it incredibly useful.
At the moment Eva is really into imaginative play and role play. She loves to play with figures and she quite often makes stories up as she's playing. She is very much a girly girl and adores anything to do with princesses and fairies. She also is completely obsessed with cars.
I could have chosen so many toys for Eva. I loved all the wooden ranges that were available. I was very drawn to the story box circus. In the end I let her choose what she wanted with me. After much deliberation she picked the magical fairy garden and the lock and roll garage.
Delivery for the toys was £2.95. When checking out you have the option to have the items gift wrapped at a small cost with a variety of styles of paper available. You can also add a greeting card, at a small cost or a gift tag for free. The toys arrived quickly from the date they were ordered.
She had the time of her life making this (so did daddy). She checks on belle the fairy every day. Hubby and I make a habit of moving her around when we can which makes Eva believe that she really does have magical powers.
All that's left now is to wait for the seeds to grow and we will have lots of grass for the fairy garden.
The lock and roll garage was also a big hit. It comes with a set of keys and 3 emergency cars. The coloured keys open the corresponding coloured garage. I love the fact that this game is also educational, helping Eva learn colours, matching and problem solving.
Overall, I am very happy with the website and the toys we received. The website makes buying presents for children very easy. It's a great place to go for a unique, special gift. I've recommended it to my nan who usually struggles with ideas for presents and also shopping online. She had a browse on the website and said that she found it easy to use.
