Changing bag Wishlist

If you have ever read my fashion blog which is http://seeonebuyone.blogspot.co.uk you will know that I have a bit of a love affair with bags. You couldn't call me a shoe lady or even a clothes lady, I am 100% a bag lady! In fact my most prized possession to date is my Mulberry. I waited a very long time to be able to have one and the hubby presented me with one as a joint push/birthday pressie. So hasn't he gone and raised the bar a bit high for himself now!

Once you become a parent i'll fully admit that practicality overtakes fashion and style. Let's face it most of the time we haven't got the time or energy to think about how good we look but the more I think about it the more I question why should I stop trying to look and feel as good as I want to be. So that then led me to think about changing bags.
A changing bag is the one thing you will leave the house with (other than your child) every single time you go out. It becomes your 2nd home. You literally carry yours and your babies life in it. So for someone that loves bags (and luxury bags I might add) why should I compromise myself with something I am going to use everyday. No I should not is the answer. I think I fully deserve a bag that I truly love.

Now I know my hubby has been telling me I don't need any more bags and I have already got a change bag (it's a very pretty Cath Kidston one) but I recently thought, 'i'm gonna have 2 children', which obviously means more stuff to carry. So from November onwards i'll be attempting to leave the house with the new babies things, Eva's things and of course my own things (better start packing a pulley suitcase I think). I found my old change bag to be suitable from birth but once I required more things such as weaning foods etc I found it wasn't big enough and I was going out with multiple bags which defeats the object!

I've been trawling through the endless amounts of change bags and I have come up with a list of my favourites! First up is the most beautiful looking change bag I have ever seen and that is the Madison by Pacapod. It is top of my list by a mile. It's simply stunning. In fact I drool every time I look at it. It is unbelievably stylish but as with all Pacapod's it is very practical.

Inside it has plenty of room and of course Pacapod's signature pod sections which are handy sections that separates your babies essential products. There is a feeding pod and and changing pod. It is priced at £290 but as far as i'm concerned it is truly worth it. It is luxuriously made with leather and it looks fantastic. Find out more about it here and all it's other amazing organisation features, Madison

Next up is another new style by Pacapod which is the Jasper. I like this one as it's designed to fit comfortably against your body with an over the shoulder strap. As always it's finished with leather, looks great and of course has the unique pod system inside. These are priced at £250. I can't decide which colour I like the best. I think it's the tan.

My final pick from Pacapod is the Firenze priced at £265. I love the colour of this one as it's so versatile and will match anything.
The next 2 bags are from another 'high end' change bag company and that is Nova Harley They make extremely stylish change bags for the fashion conscious mummies amongst us. They can be bought online from Mothercare.
This black one is the Melbourne and is £239. I think i've taken a liking to it as it reminds me of a Mulberry bag.
This one is the New York. It appears to be slightly bigger than the other one so it may be more practical. It is £148 so cheaper than the rest of my list. I do think I would prefer this one if it was in a different colour.
Finally let's talk about the wonderful Grafea. I adore their bags with their signature style being the backpack. The following backpack is the one I own and that is the Pink Lemonade. They are a British brand and I urge you to view their website if you have never seen them before. They are very well made and very sturdy. Last week what I thought was just going to be a dream of mine turned into a reality. I was thinking out loud on twitter and was tweeting how amazing it would be if Grafea made changing bags and within minutes my dreams became a reality when I received a tweet back saying my dreams will come true by the end of this year. I obvisouly have no idea what the bag will look like but all I can say is that I am extremely excited about it. There is not one bag on their site that I don't like so I know whatever they come up with I will love.

Here are my top pics from there at the moment.

So that concludes my wishlist! I would have them all if I could. I could then have a different one for every day of the week.
Which brand is your favourite out of Pacapod and Nova Harley? Which bag out of the list if your favourite? What changing bag do you have?

  1. I totally agree that a changing bag is important as we use them every day and they need to be stylish! I love the pink backpack, and I have the tan leather Storksak Elizabeth which is similar to the Madison bag in your first picture. It was quite pricey but so worth it, it's the only changing bag I own (2 years now) and I will definitely be using it for the next baby! #twinklytuesday

  5. They all look so cool! I don't know if they do them over there but I have the Mimco changing bag I loved it. Not using it so much now with Hope being older (now my handbag is a Peppa pig back pack!!) but it really was good. Xx

  7. I'm *desperate* for a new change bag! We have got a huge Pacapod Mirano bag from when the twins were babies but now they're 2, I need to carry less clobber, so could get away with a smaller bag. I'd love a little Madison bag! Thanks so much for linking up with #TwinklyTuesday — hope to see you again next week! x

  8. I totally agree with you. The changing bag becomes something that is literally attached to you (or your pushchair). I don't think you realise how much you won't actually be using your own bags before baby number one. Like you, I have a perfectly suitable and practical bag but I, not so totally in love with it as much as I should be for something I use so much. I'm with you, I LOVE the Madison and I think it would be a great investment x

  9. I have a Pacapod and it is brilliant - although they don't fit a lot of stuff in and you have to be organised! I love the first one - gorgeous! I wish I could justify buying another one!

  10. That first Pacapod is amazing! I have the Napier, and the pod system is just great - you know where everything is and it's so organised. The only problem with mine is it looks too much like a changing bag - the leather one just looks like a really nice handbag, with the added bonus of the pods!
Good luck choosing a new one!
