This gorgeous nautical outfit has been perfect for the summer period and hopefully we shall have a lovely rest of this month and September so that Eva can keep wearing it. It still looks quite big on her. She is 19 months old yet a lot of 12-18 months clothes drown her. I guess she's always gonna be petite like her mummy.
I find nautical and stripes pop up every year whether it be in children's or adult fashion. It presents a classic look which I think looks lovely on children. To create a nautical look use reds, whites and blues for colour and think stripes and boat motifs for patterns. The top and skirt that Eva is wearing were both from Mothercare but are no longer available. The blazer (which I absolutely love) was from Primark. I think it was about £8 and is probably still available in store. If not i'm sure they will have something similar in another colour. The shoes were from Next but again are no longer available but I have found a cute alternative here: Next Shoes
I have found lot's of alternative items from JoJo Maman Bebe. The breton styling is always available with them during any season. This gorgeous quilted coat could be a great alternative from the blazer to transition this outfit into an autumn/winter outfit. You can buy it here for £29 available from size 6 months to 5 years. JoJo quilted jacket
This gorgeous skirt is also available from Jojo. They make the most adorable skirts (i've previously blogged about the elephant print). The skirt can be worn now for a summer look or team it with some think navy or white tights for winter. Buy it here for £16 in sizes 6 months to 5 years. Jojo Skirt
I really wanted to try and find similar products as the one's Eva is wearing from Mothercare but they literally didn't have anything. The only thing I could find was the fab nautical skirt from the little bird range by Jools Oliver and it is in the sale, so there are hardly any sizes left. Buy it here for £7 Mothercare skirt
This one starts from 6 months and goes to 5 years. Buy it here for £12 Jojo top
